We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) to join our team as a Lead Provider, responsible for providing exceptional care and making a real impact on the lives of our patients within our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers at ConvenientMD act as clinical leader for all clinical staff, mentoring and supporting new-grad providers as well as allied healthcare professionals. This role is perfect for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentorship, and is passionate about delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care, conducting health assessments, physical exams, reviewing medical histories, administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results, performing therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, wound management, educating and counseling patients, preparing accurate medical records using EMR, maintaining compliance with safety and infection control policies, collaborating with healthcare team members, acting as a clinic leader and mentor, and maintaining professional knowledge through continuing education. Requirements include a Master's degree and certification as a PA or NP, DEA license with no restrictions, BLS certification, clinical experience preferred in emergency medicine, urgent care or ambulatory care, strong leadership and communication skills, compassion, technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems, and knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and medical principles.
