Locums Cardiovascular Surgery (NP/PA) Hershey, PA
Coverage Need
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 12/31/2025
- Schedule: Full-time, 36-40 hours per week
- Shifts: Three 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm) plus call coverage
- Weekend Call: Friday 6pm - Monday 6:30am (home call)
- Weeknight Call: 6pm - 6:30am (home call)
- No PRN or part-time availability accepted
Position Details
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Rounding: Assigned Patients
- Patients Per Shift: 3-4
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Ratio: 1:6
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Call Back %: 20%
- Admissions Required? No
- Stroke Certified Facility? Yes
- Temporary privileges available? Yes
- EMR: Cerner
- OR First Assist required
- Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) required
- Some ICU floor time required
- Equipment: Marquet
- Will facility accept multiple providers? No
Submissions Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active PA license
- Clean history
- ACLS, BLS
- IMLC not accepted
Skill Requirements
- Cardiovascular surgical first assist
- Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
- ICU patient management
- Familiarity with Cerner and Marquet equipment
