About the Role DBE UTILITY SERVICES, a subsidiary of United Utility, is seeking a full-time Sr. Project Manager for the Water/Wastewater Division at the Jacksonville, FL office. Minimum of 5 years of senior project management experience in underground utilities required. DBE is a leading underground utilities company specializing in directional drilling and the installation of water, sewer, gas, fiber, and power systems. With our project management team based at a satellite office in Jacksonville, FL, and our main headquarters located in Palm Beach County, FL, we deliver high-quality, efficient utility solutions across a wide range of projects. We pride ourselves on our expertise in complex underground utility work, providing services to residential, commercial, and municipal clients. Our team is dedicated to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, while adhering to the highest industry standards. Key Responsibilities Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promote best practices in project management, and mentor team members to enhance overall project delivery. Additionally, the Sr. PM ensures continuous alignment with organizational goals and drives process improvements for future projects. Provide overall management of projects from estimating to construction closeout including but not limited to bidding, procurement, project controls, constructability reviews, material management, pre-construction, construction management, financial tracking and budgeting, progress meetings, final walk throughs, and final closeout. versatile employee bringing a well-rounded understanding of both office and field operations. Promote open and continuous communication between various customers, departments, and personnel. Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs. Direct and coordinate activities of several disciplines on a project of moderate scope and/or a combination of smaller projects Document control and handling, coordination of project requirements between the field, office, and municipalities. Report regularly on progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues requiring office support. Relay daily activities, whereabouts and progress of multiple construction crews and their projects to leadership. Key Qualifications 5+ years of Estimator/Sr. Project Manager experience in W/WW underground utility construction. Bachelor’s degree (Preferred but not required). Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook MS Project or Primavera, Adobe Pro. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients. Must be a self-starter who can work independently. Must be able to travel. Overnight travel may be required. Clean Background, Drug Test, and MVR.
