Role overview As VP of Permitting & Licensing, you will lead the regulatory strategy for expanding 25-30 campuses across the US, managing state authorizations, local permits, and compliance. You will work closely with legal, real estate, and operations teams to ensure rapid and compliant campus launches.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute regulatory strategies for expansion
Navigate state and local permitting processes efficiently
Build relationships with regulatory stakeholders
Create scalable processes for campus deployment
Collaborate across teams to streamline approvals
Basic requirements
At least 3 years managing complex, multi-stakeholder regulatory initiatives
Proven success in navigating regulatory environments and building stakeholder trust
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to leverage AI tools to improve workflows
U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel domestically (~25%)
Position details This is a full-time, long-term role, contracted through Crossover, with a compensation of $200/hour, totaling approximately $400,000 annually. The position is immediately available.
