As our VP of Permitting & Licensing, you'll be the architect of our expansion, managing everything from state authorizations to local permits. This isn't about watching from the control room – you'll be on the ground, orchestrating the intricate dance of compliance, relationships, and execution.

What You Will Be Doing
Spearhead the regulatory strategy for our ambitious 25-30 campus expansion Champion state-level authorizations and navigate complex compliance landscapes Orchestrate local permitting processes with precision and efficiency Synchronize efforts across legal, real estate, and operations teams Create and implement a scalable playbook for rapid campus deployment Forge and nurture strategic relationships with regulatory stakeholders across jurisdictions

VP Of Permitting & Licensing Key Responsibilities
Your primary mission is to secure comprehensive regulatory clearance for all campus locations, ensuring each facility opens on schedule with full legal and operational compliance. Success means zero delays, zero compromises, and zero regulatory surprises.
Basic Requirements
We're seeking a regulatory virtuoso with a proven track record of navigating complex compliance landscapes at scale. Whether you've honed your skills at a premier consulting firm or mastered the regulatory maze in education, healthcare, or real estate, you're ready to take the helm.
3+ years commanding complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with significant regulatory or operational complexity Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional projects to completion, with a reputation for dismantling roadblocks Proven ability to decode and navigate complex regulatory environments while building credibility with governmental and compliance stakeholders Superior analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities, refined in high-pressure professional environments Natural affinity for fast-paced, autonomous environments where results matter Willingness to leverage AI tools to optimize workflows U.S. work authorization and ability to travel domestically 25% of the time

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
