Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Regional Director of Sales
to lead our sales operations across Colorado and the extended Mountain Region. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and managing a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate is a player-coach who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong client relationships and developing sales talent. Key Skills and Competencies Develop an emerging regional sales territory. Lead an existing regional sales team to achieve revenue, gross profit, and company objectives. Act as an Account Executive, “player/coach”, until initial revenue targets are achieved. IT Solutions Selling: Proven ability to sell cloud services, managed services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, SaaS, and networking solutions. Channel Sales Expertise: Experience working with major technology vendors (e.g., Cisco, HPE, Dell, Microsoft, VMware, Palo Alto Networks). Sales Leadership: Track record of hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing sales teams across a regional territory. P&L and Forecasting: Strong skills in managing pipelines, forecasting revenue, and achieving regional sales quotas. Customer Engagement: Ability to build trusted relationships with mid-market to enterprise clients, including C-level stakeholders. Partner Development: Experience expanding VAR/MSP ecosystems through alliances, OEMs, and solution providers. Strategic Planning: Strong business acumen with the ability to align sales strategy to business objectives. Contract Negotiation: Expertise in closing large, multi-year service agreements and negotiating complex licensing/SLAs. Recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring high-performing Regional Account Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and strategic selling within territory-based teams. Developing go-to-market playbooks and coaching frameworks to help RAMs grow their book of business, improve win rates, and drive deeper customer penetration across existing accounts. Required Experience 10+ years of IT Sales experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing regional teams. Demonstrated success in VAR, MSP, or SI (Systems Integrator) environments. Experience with recurring revenue models, including MSP bundles, NaaS, or XaaS models. Strong understanding of modern IT architectures, including cloud (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity, SASE, SD-WAN, etc. History of quota overachievement and delivering double-digit revenue growth across territories. Familiarity with industry verticals (e.g., healthcare, finance, education, manufacturing) is a plus. Spearheaded local marketing and partner-led events, enabling RAMs to build pipeline through thought leadership forums, executive roundtables, and hands-on solution showcases.
