Job Overview
Cabling Contractors & Consultants LLC, a leader in commercial communications cable construction, is seeking a dedicated Installation Lead to join our dynamic Field Operations team. In this role, you'll oversee on-site installation of fiber optic systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities
Lead installation crews on fiber optic construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to timelines. Complete projects efficiently in a variety of environments and weather conditions. Perform installations, terminations, and testing of fiber optic systems according to company standards. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and utilize provided safety equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate project tasks. Provide on-the-job mentorship to apprentices and support their skills development. Maintain accurate records of installations, project progress, and materials used. Proactively identify and resolve installation challenges in the field. Ensure work meets or exceeds customer and company quality standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in cable installation or a related field. High school diploma or GED required. Leadership experience with strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Interest in learning and mastering fiber optic construction processes. Self-motivated and quick to adapt to new methods and technologies. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to obtain necessary certifications (company-paid).
