Join Our Team as Plant Operations Director at Vitalia Active Adult Community - Solon, Ohio
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Operations Director to oversee maintenance, grounds, and safety at our Vitalia Active Adult Community located at 6050 Kruse Dr., Solon, Ohio 44139. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with weekend rotation duties. Responsibilities:
Maintain Quality Standards:
Ensure the physical building and grounds are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance. Manage Maintenance Operations:
Oversee the plant and housekeeping departments, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance to ensure efficient and safe operations. Community Engagement:
Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing requests promptly and ensuring the community and apartments meet quality standards. Safety Leadership:
Prioritize safety for employees, residents, and guests, managing environmental hazards and emergency procedures. Qualifications:
At least 18 years old HVAC certification and experience preferred Knowledge of construction, plumbing, painting, flooring, and landscaping is a plus Minimum two years of maintenance supervisory experience in multi-unit housing Excellent communication skills Ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform active physical tasks Clear criminal background check Good health, verified by recent health screening and TB test Valid driver’s license with a clean record Experience in senior housing is preferred Knowledge of OSHA regulations and leadership skills Benefits:
