Water Resources Client Team Leader / Senior Project Manager . The Water Resources Group is expanding its technical expertise and aims to market these skills to current and potential clients. Typical projects include: Surface and stormwater management Hydrologic/hydraulic analyses supporting culvert/bridge design, scour analyses, floodplain modeling, and permitting Riparian restoration design Fish passage design The primary focus is to grow our Puget Sound Water Resources Market and lead related projects. Responsibilities encompass business development and project management, and the role is based in Portland, Oregon. Manage client relationships and overall client experience in the Water Resources market Develop new business, lead client teams, and assess client technology trends Maintain and deepen client relationships Monitor project manager performance and conduct client experience surveys Coach project managers, support project recovery, and pursue Water Resource-specific opportunities Make strategic pursuit decisions, determine staffing and teaming Manage client profitability, contracts, revenue forecasting, and sales results Project Manager responsibilities include: Leading pursuits and managing projects Ensuring quality and timely project delivery Providing design leadership and reviewing deliverables Collaborating with practice leaders to ensure resource availability Attracting, developing, and retaining talent Supporting employee development and meeting business metrics Adhering to firmwide tools, processes, and policies Basic Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis on stormwater management or water resource design Registered Engineer in Oregon Strong communication skills 15+ years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, stream restoration, and fish passage projects 5+ years in business development within the Puget Sound market Preferred Qualifications 20+ years of experience Experience with Departments of Transportation, municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies Familiarity with GIS Experience in storm and surface water master planning Proficiency in MicroStation Inroads Storm, Civ3D, CivilStorm, StormShed, MGSFlood, SRH2D, HEC-RAS2D, HY-8, and Excel Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance Health Savings and Lifestyle Spending Accounts Support for continuing education Paid Time Off and Holidays 401k and ESOP Flexible 9/80 work schedule Holistic Wellbeing Program Growth opportunities with mentoring Salary range: $150,000-$200,000 depending on experience This position is located in Portland, Oregon.
