Peak seasons for this position are at the beginning of the fall and end of the spring semesters. Primary Position Responsibilities Assist web team colleagues and internal clients to create responsive, accessible, and engaging websites and emails that support the University's brand and marketing objectives. Work to meet established production schedules and deadlines as assigned. Proactively communicate with internal clients on job status and follow all projects through to completion. - 35% Assist in updating and managing website content using the University CMS (Content Management System) as assigned. Assist in front-end development, SEO optimization, user management/training, and enforcement of University website governance policies. - 30% Continuously optimize the effectiveness of the university website through quality assurance and search engine optimization using various website analytics and usability testing. - 15% Ensure all web functions and code comply with accessibility and privacy laws, including AAA level compliance using WCAG standards and full compliance with GDPR standards. - 10% Commit to staying abreast of industry best practices, standards, tools, and techniques for site design, development, and optimization in support of University marketing goals through continuous personal and professional development. - 10% Required Qualifications Belmont University seeks to attract and retain highly qualified faculty and staff who will support our mission and vision.
