PLM Administrator
to join our growing team. Reporting to the
Director, IT Projects & Compliance,
the
PLM Administrator
will be responsible for managing and enhancing our PTC Windchill platform and ensuring seamless integration across our CAD (Creo, SolidWorks), CAE (ANSYS/ Keysight), MES (Aegis) and enterprise systems (Microsoft D365). Key Duties and Responsibilities Administrate and support
PTC Windchill , including user access, data structures, lifecycles, and workflows. Configure and troubleshoot integrations between Windchill and tools like Creo, SolidWorks, ANSYS, D365, and AEGIS MES (as applicable/needed). Implement/Maintain workflows and processes, transfer existing documents/CAD files. Perform routine system maintenance: performance tuning, updates, patches, and backups. Develop and maintain basic automation/scripts to improve data flow and reduce manual work. Support engineering and manufacturing teams in resolving PLM-related issues. Identify and suggest possible improvements in procedures. Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, including ITAR, AS9100, and others. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the PLM system meets organizational needs. Assume accountability for tasks assigned. Requirements 5+ years of experience administering PLM Systems, ideally PTC Windchill, or equivalent experience installing, developing, upgrading, and maintaining. In-depth knowledge of formal Engineering Change Procedures. Thorough understand of PLM usage and configurations. Familiarity with CAD/CAE systems, including PTC Creo, SolidWorks, Keysight, and ANSYS. Experience supporting or integrating ERP and/or MES systems such as Microsoft D365 and Aegis. Familiarity with PCB Design tools such as Zuken or Altium Designer. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Comfortable working across Windows and Linux environments. Strong customer service skills. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment. Ability to self-govern with minimum supervision, establish workload priorities, and utilize efficient time management practices to achieve assigned tasks. Knowledge of both Windows and Linux systems, along with software installations. U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance. Additional Differentiators 5+ years of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill in an aerospace or defense setting. Scripting/automation capabilities in Python/Shell, and/or JAVA. Prior experience with regulated environments: ITAR, DoD, or FAA-regulated programs. Ability to translate complex technical topics in a clear and compelling fashion. Passion for space.
