The
Workday Project Manager
will plan, establish, and manage Workday Finance and IT-related projects. The role will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. Responsibilities include managing the semi-annual Workday releases for Financials functionality, integrations arising from business activities, supporting and enhancing FINS controls related to systems, and assisting with the prioritization of Workday support tickets. Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects, including project objectives, specifications, timelines, and staffing. Manages assigned projects to ensure adherence to schedule and scope. Sets and tracks project milestones; manages unforeseen delays, realigns schedules, and manages expectations as needed. Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends to prepare project status reports for staff and stakeholders. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Technical Knowledge and Understanding: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Quickly becomes proficient with various applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and industry. Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning. Ability to motivate teams to complete projects timely. Excellent analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience: At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in financial services. Familiarity with Workday Financials is preferred.
