The Atlanta Office is looking for a Workers’ Compensation Associate to join our growing team.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases Maintain billable hours as necessary Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary
Position Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school 1+ years of experience working in a law office or similar legal environment (Clerkships in Superior Court will also be considered) At least 1 year of experience in insurance matters is a requirement for consideration for this position, 2 years of experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in discovery, especially depositions, motion practice, and ideally have at least some second chair litigation experience at the trial level. Admission to the state bar association where practicing Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred. Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

The salary rage for this position is $85,000-$115,00 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
