Inova Franconia Springfield Ambulatory Surgery Center is
currently hiring a seasoned PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse
to become an integral member of our team, delivering unparalleled care to our patients. The position is PRN with varied hours and days based on unit needs. Work Schedule
Day shift only, no nights, weekends, call, or holidays Responsibilities
Care for surgical patients as they recover from anesthesia Monitor and chart vital signs, such as heart or respiratory rate, blood pressure, or oxygen level Comfort patients as they wake; may be required to gently restrain patients Check surgical site for excessive bleeding or swelling Educate patients on post-discharge care for surgical wounds Cross-train to work in Preoperative area as needed Qualifications
One or more years of PreOp/PACU or Critical Care nursing experience required Prior PreOp/PostOp experience in an ASC is strongly preferred Current Virginia RN licensure Current BLS certification ACLS/PALS certification preferred within six months of hire Benefits
