Minimal requirements include; Highschool diploma A Maryland CNA License at least 1 year of hospital-based experience in the last 2 years Proficient in phlebotomy, starting IV’s, EKG additional terms and conditions apply. Shift: 7 am -330pm The Johns Hopkins Hospital- Our brand new Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) is a 12-bed unit that provides comprehensive care for critically ill cardiac medical and surgical patients from birth through early adulthood. Common diagnoses include complex congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease, heart failure, and dysrhythmias. Treatments include medical and surgical management, neonatal and pediatric ECMO, ventricular assist devices, and transplantation. Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development. One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered. Licensure/Certifications Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required. Salary Range: Minimum $17.37/hour - Maximum $ 26.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
