Role Description This is a temporary on-site role for a General Counselor located in Fishkill, NY. The General Counselor will be responsible for supervising children, leading recreational and educational activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. The counselor will also be expected to assist with conflict resolution, provide guidance, and support the overall camp program. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lead recreational and educational activities Experience in supervising and engaging with children Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills First aid and CPR certification is a plus Ability to work as part of a team and independently Experience in youth development or related fields is beneficial High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education, social work, or related fields is a plus Seniority level
