GSSI is expanding its research and athlete testing facility in Valhalla, NY, focusing on efficacy research of functional ingredients for hydration. As a part of GSSI and Client R&D, the Research Technician will uphold high standards and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines for human research.
Key Responsibilities: Report to the Principal Scientist, Operations Lead, to implement laboratory-based clinical research strategies at GSSI s Valhalla research hub. Serve as Lead Phlebotomist, collaborating with the investigative team to maintain research safety standards and assist in developing and executing related SOPs. Assist with daily research project execution, including data collection and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirement s: Registered Nurse or Medical Technician credentials required. Licensed and experienced in performing phlebotomy, including venous catheterization. Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines with experience in clinical research (minimum one year preferred). Proactive, able to multitask, and flexible in a dynamic, high-performance environment. Excellent interpersonal communication skills; able to work effectively with diverse personalities and teams. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings, depending on research needs.
