This position offers a meaningful opportunity to advocate for immigrant rights across a wide range of legal matters, including humanitarian visas, non-immigrant visas, waivers, federal litigation, and consular processing. The ideal candidate will be committed to serving clients with compassion, professionalism, and a thorough understanding of complex immigration procedures. Location: Vista, California Duties: Draft, review, and finalize legal documents including motions, briefs, USCIS applications, and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) Represent clients in USCIS interviews, EOIR court hearings, and appellate proceedings Conduct legal research and case analysis to support client representation in immigration matters Advise clients on legal rights, case strategies, and immigration options Perform initial eligibility consultations and pre-sale case assessments Collaborate with attorneys and staff to manage caseloads and meet deadlines Maintain regular client communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings Stay informed on immigration law updates and procedural changes Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to legal ethical standards Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in immigration law Strong foundation in federal immigration law, including EOIR and USCIS proceedings Able to manage complex and emotionally sensitive immigration cases Strong interpersonal and case management skills Must be able to work on-site at the Vista, CA office Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications: Active license to practice law in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico Good standing with the relevant state bar Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong legal research and analytical abilities Proficient in preparing and presenting legal arguments in court and administrative settings Collaborative and proactive team player High level of professionalism and commitment to client advocacy Benefits & Compensation: Professional Environment: Supportive workplace culture focused on inclusion, accountability, and growth Opportunities for ongoing legal education and development Mission-Driven: Work that directly impacts the lives of immigrants and their families
