Locums Medical Director PACE Program Pensacola, FL Why This Role

- Schedule: Full-time, M-F
- Duration: Ongoing/permanent placement
- Location: Pensacola, FL
- On-Call: Yes, part of provider rotation
- Setting: PACE program - clinic, participant homes, nursing facilities Clinical Details
- Conduct new patient H&Ps, reassessments, and develop treatment plans
- Participate in intake evaluations and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, prognosis, and future care planning
- Provide supervision and leadership to PCPs and APPs
- Oversee QAPI program and assist with development of medical protocols Requirements
- Active Florida license
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Board Certification or training in Geriatrics - Preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience with frail or elderly population
- Supervisory or medical director experience
- DEA and CDS/CSR certification Skills Needed
- Strong physical assessment and chronic disease management skills
- Understanding of interdisciplinary care and value-based models
- Ability to adapt priorities to meet evolving participant needs
- Passion for elder care and community-based healthcare innovation
