Private Equity Practice
in

JD
from a
top-tier law school
with a
strong academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York,
in good standing, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
5+ years
of substantive experience in
M&A,
leveraged recapitalizations ,
growth equity ,
venture capital transactions ,
exits , and
equity compensation
matters
Transactional Experience: Proven ability to
lead key components of transactions
while working collaboratively within deal teams
Strong business acumen, client management skills, and a track record of building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Prior experience at an
AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated firm
preferred
Soft Skills: Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Advise
private equity sponsors ,
portfolio companies , and other clients on
M&A,
leveraged recapitalizations , and
growth equity investments
Draft, review, and negotiate
transaction agreements, equity documents, and ancillary contracts
Manage and execute multiple deal workstreams
from structuring through closing , ensuring deadlines and client objectives are met
Oversee due diligence
processes and
coordinate input
from experts across practice areas
Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to develop creative, business-focused solutions to complex transactional challenges

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation:
Annual base salary is expected to start at
$365,000+ , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
