Were excited to announce multiple openings for our After School Program at Sunderland Elementary School in Sunderland, VT for the upcoming 2025 2026 school year!
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt ROLES AVAILABLE: Substitutes, Assistants, Supervisors, Directors PAY RANGE: $14.01 $17.00 per hour (dependent on position, experience, and qualifications)
WHAT OUR AFTER-SCHOOL TEAM DOES: Lead engaging, hands-on activities based on our Healthy Kids Curriculum from active play and STEAM challenges to academic enrichment, creative arts, and of course, supporting homework time.
Foster a welcoming, safe, and super-fun space where kids feel encouraged to learn and grow. You'll be the mentor they look up to every day.
Use the Playground App to keep families in the loop with updates, highlights, and sweet moments from their child's day.
Follow all relevant state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program procedures, and school-site rules to ensure smooth operations.
Certain roles may also include responsibilities such as tracking attendance, managing student registration, and assisting with staff scheduling.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR: BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Youre 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
While previous experience working with children under 13 is a plus, its not required we value energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn!
Youre cleared medically to perform job duties and are free of communicable diseases, including TB.
You're approachable, high-energy, and dependable great with kids, respectful with families, and a team player through and through.
Youre physically capable of staying active throughout your shift lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stretching, and moving with ease to keep up with a group of lively children.
