Were currently hiring for a variety of positions within our Before and After School Programs for the 2025 2026 school year at Maple Hill, Presidential Park, and William Carter Elementary Schools in Middletown, NY.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt AVAILABLE ROLES: Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors PAY RANGE: $15.50 $17.00 per hour (commensurate with role, experience, and qualifications)
WHAT OUR TEAM DOES: Lead interactive, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which features fitness, STEAM projects, academics, creative arts, group play, and homework support.
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and exciting space where kids can thrive and serve as a daily positive role model.
Keep parents and families informed with updates and communication via the Playground App.
Follow all state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program procedures, and school policies consistently.
Some roles may include light management duties like tracking attendance, assisting with registration, or supporting staffing needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Youre 18 or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience working with children under 13 is a bonus but not required. We value passion, energy, and a willingness to grow.
Medically cleared to perform job functions and free from communicable illnesses, including TB.
Friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills. You communicate well with children, families, and coworkers alike, and always show up on time.
Physically able to move throughout your shift bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and staying active alongside the kids.
