GENERAL FUNCTION:
Provide leadership in the pitching and execution of M&A and Strategic Advisory engagements while supporting the IB's Sr. Managing Director in managing the team's Associates and Analysts. Ensure proper resource allocation and high-priority project focus. Play a key role in developing the group's modeling and analytical capabilities, creating high-quality analysis and materials. Lead the creation of pitch materials, manage the execution process, including financial models, CIM, and client communication.
Maintain risk awareness by adhering to policies, ensuring a positive customer experience, and managing risks effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate complex financial models.
- Perform detailed financial analysis.
- Create impactful presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Collaborate effectively in high-stress environments.
- Build relationships within Capital Markets and the broader organization.
- Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Apply strong credit and corporate finance knowledge to IB projects.
- Support Managing Directors and assist in internal and external IB presentations.
- Engage independently with key stakeholders during M&A or Strategic Advisory projects.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise daily activities of IB Associates and Analysts. Provide performance feedback, develop talent, and recognize achievements to support career growth and succession planning.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 7-10 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets.
- Strong corporate finance and credit skills.
- Proven success in originating and closing complex financial transactions.
- Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Effective interaction with senior executives.
- Expertise in one or more industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA preferred.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required.

The position offers a base salary aligned with the US pay grade, with additional incentive compensation based on performance. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
