In this role, you will provide compassionate and personalized nursing care to patients throughout the pregnancy continuum, from infancy through adulthood. Your expertise will support low-intervention approaches while ensuring access to essential medical resources when needed. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, as well as postpartum and mother/baby care.- Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to tailor the nursing process to the individual patient's needs.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a safe and supportive birth experience.- Maintain compliance with nursing standards of care and practices.- Document patient care activities accurately, using Epic EMR for electronic health records.- Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures, ensuring all medical and occupational health compliance items are completed within the specified timeline.- Maintain flexibility to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as required. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required.- Experience in postpartum care and mother/baby nursing is essential.- ACLS certification and AWHONN Certification (within the past 3 years) preferred.- Current licensure as a registered nurse in New Hampshire is required.- NRP and BLS (AHA) certifications must be current.- Candidate must have reliable transportation, as having a vehicle is a firm requirement.
