About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Director of Federal Sales to spearhead the development of our Federal go-to-market strategy and operational framework. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in scaling Federal go-to-market teams and a profound understanding of successful sales strategies targeting the U.S. government. This strategic, high-impact role blends federal sales expertise with effective leadership and hands-on execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of Account Executives to foster growth and support
  • Expanding the Federal sales pipeline
  • Navigating complex Federal procurement processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align company offerings with government needs

Successful applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in SaaS or Enterprise Software Sales tailored to Federal agencies, with at least 5 years in a management role. A track record of building high-performing teams and closing multi-million dollar Federal contracts is crucial. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of Federal procurement, budgeting cycles, and contract vehicles, as well as an established network within intelligence, defense, and Federal civilian agencies. Familiarity with Federal compliance frameworks and experience working with systems integrators and public sector resellers are required.
