Position Title: Mid‐Level Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a Mid‐Level Mechanical Engineer with 5–10 years of hands‐on design experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanical systems and be proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other life‐science projects is highly desirable but not mandatory. This role requires excellent English‐ communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multi‐disciplinary design team.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop mechanical design drawings and specifications for industrial facilities, including HVAC systems, process piping, plumbing, and clean utilities n
- Size and specify mechanical equipment (AHUs, chillers, pumps, piping, ductwork) n
- Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and energy modeling n
- Coordinate mechanical layouts with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and process engineering disciplines n
- Produce detailed AutoCAD or Revit MEP deliverables, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant industry codes and standards n
- Review and incorporate client standards, master specifications, and project‐specific requirements n
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and review submittals during construction administration n
- Assist in preparation of engineering cost estimates and material take‐offs n
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site visits as needed n
- Mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians, providing guidance on drafting standards and project best practices n
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent n
- 5–10 years of professional mechanical design experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments n
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical and/or Revit MEP (at least one) n
- Strong understanding of ASHRAE standards, NFPA codes, and applicable mechanical design guidelines n
- Proven ability to perform load calculations, duct and piping sizing, and mechanical system analysis n
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills n
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities; comfortable collaborating across disciplines n
- Detail‐oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy n
Qualifications

- Experience with pharmaceutical, biotech, or life‐science facility design n
- Familiarity with clean utilities (WFI, SIP, CIP) and process cooling systems n
- Working knowledge of energy recovery and sustainability practices n
- PE licensure or ability to obtain professional licensure within one year n
- Exposure to project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) n
