We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Host/Maître D  who is passionate about curating exceptional guest experiences and consistently elevating the art of hospitality.  The Host/Maître D’ must be  organized, able to manage reservations, welcome guests, and oversee the flow of service. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. This role is critical in setting the tone for our guest experience and maintaining an efficient front-of-house operation. Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and seat guests, managing the flow of the dining room and bar.
  • Oversee reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins using our reservation system.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient seating chart to maximize guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and bartenders to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist in coordinating special guest requests, private dining arrangements, and VIP experiences.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu offerings, including wine pairings.
  • Ensure a welcoming and polished front-of-house appearance at all times.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and poise.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the restaurant is ready for service.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a host, Maître D’, or in a similar front-of-house role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A warm, welcoming demeanor and polished professional appearance.
  • Passion for food, wine, and hospitality.
  • Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest interactions with grace.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
