Job Summary
We are seeking a poised, polished, and proactive Maître D’ to serve as the face of our dining room.
The Maître D’ will be responsible for managing the door, leading the flow of service, and ensuring each guest’s experience begins and ends with warmth, precision, and care. You will work closely with management and service teams to create seamless dining experiences for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for all guests with a warm and professional welcome
Oversee and manage nightly floor plans and seating strategy to optimize guest experience and service flo
Manage all reservations and waitlists using Resy or equivalent platform, including daily confirmations and VIP tracking
Liaise with FOH and BOH teams to communicate pacing, special occasions, allergies, and VIP information
Resolve guest concerns with grace and urgency, always prioritizing hospitality
Maintain a calm, commanding presence on the floor, especially during high-volume periods
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience in a Maître D’, head host, or guest relations leadership role at a high-volume or fine dining restaurant
Proficiency with reservation platforms (Resy/ Opemtable)
Strong presence and emotional intelligence
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
A natural leader who sets the tone for hospitality and inspires the team around them
