- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax laws, wage and hour laws, and internal policies.
- Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefit withholdings.
- Manage employee data changes.
- Maintain HR records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll and personnel data.
- Support benefits enrollment, deductions, and changes.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and third-party administrators.
- Assist with audits related to payroll, benefits, or labor compliance.
- Recommend and implement payroll/HR process improvements.
- Stay updated with HR/payroll laws and best practices.
- Post job openings on job boards, career sites, and internal portals.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Prepare and extend job offers and facilitate pre-employment background checks.
- Support onboarding process including orientation and new hire documentation.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with ACA, FMLA and other employment laws
- 3+ years of payroll and HR experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
