MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a quaternary care and Level 1 trauma center. Our anesthesia department covers over 40 sites, including 30+ ORs, Endoscopy, EP Lab, and Labor and Delivery. We are a teaching institution serving as a clinical site for SAA and SRNA programs. Our team is collaborative, focusing on excellent patient care and a positive work environment.
Our care team includes Physicians, CAAs, CRNAs, residents, SAAs, and SRNAs, working with diverse surgical teams. Case types include general, trauma, neuro, thoracic, vascular, orthopedics, ENT, reconstructive plastics, oral, GYN, burn, OB, EP, GI, IR.
