Job Title TXWES Esports Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

The Division of Student Affairs at Texas Wesleyan University equips students with essential skills for their future careers. At TXWES Esports, we do this by uniting with our students to transform their passions into workplace-ready skills in a supportive, engagement-based community on the path to educational and personal success. The TXWES Esports Marketing Coordinator helps shape the public voice of our program through creative storytelling and digital outreach. This role supports daily content creation and strategy development, with flexible scheduling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create graphics, short-form videos, and promotional posts for TXWES Esports social media. Attend team events such as practices, matches, and workouts to capture footage, take photos, and produce engaging content that highlights the student experience. Capture and edit photos and videos at practices, events, and matches. Collaborate with varsity players and esports staff to brainstorm and execute engaging content. Maintain branding consistency across Instagram and TikTok platforms. Contribute to long-term marketing strategy while executing regular content. Track engagement and provide basic analytics reporting to inform future strategies. Commit to at least 6-10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling for content creation and coverage of key esports events. Plan, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines amid changing priorities. Due to the constant changes to the working environment in esports and gaming, additional duties may be added or retracted from this job description at the time the need arises. Experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

A desire to contribute and grow in this role. Familiarity with esports, gaming, and social media trends. Proficiency or experience using Canva and Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience in or interest in content creation, especially short-form video. Interest in marketing strategy and social media analytics. Ability to collaborate creatively and independently. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Leadership, adaptability, and cooperative attitude in a diverse environment.
