As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting our wholesale and retail customers by identifying their needs, answering inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and offering tailored solutions. Your responsibility encompasses resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, all while keeping up to date with product features and maintaining our high-quality visual standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Assisting customers in person and over the phone by understanding their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
Building productive trust-based relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
Processing sales transactions accurately and in line with company policies.
Aiming to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas.
Retrieving appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications as necessary.
Stocking shelves and arranging displays attractively.
Keeping store equipment clean and maintained.
Loading and unloading delivery trucks as required.
Assisting in deliveries when needed.
Maintaining in-stock and visually appealing assigned areas.
Staying knowledgeable about available products and discussing options with customers.
Complying with inventory control procedures.
Proposing ideas for improving sales performance.
Minimum requirements include:
At least 18 years old.
Legally authorized to work in the location without the need for visa sponsorship.
Proficient in both English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively.
Holding a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Physically capable of retrieving materials from shelves and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred qualifications include:
High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of one year’s experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
Prior experience selling paint and related products.
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
