Essential Job Duties The Esports Temporary Assistant supports the day-to-day operation of the NC State Gaming & Esports Lab.

Helps manages evening and weekend coverage Helps supervise student staff including processing bi-weekly timesheets Processes space and equipment reservation requests for student groups, instructors, workshops, and outreach events Maintains the Lab's hardware, software, and supplies Perform first-line troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking issues Escalates complex problems to Libraries IT

Minimum Experience/Education

Department Required Skills Experience providing public/customer service Working knowledge of gaming and esports technology and events Ability to supervise a team of student employees Proven organizational skills-able to manage multiple concurrent events, reservations, and supply orders with attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly and knowledgeably Ability to foster an environment of belonging and well-being Ability to meet high service standards in all interactions and to collaborate effectively with users and colleagues from varied backgrounds and disciplines Ability to lift and move gaming equipment (up to 40 lbs.)
