Main responsibilities:

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing and/or overseeing preventive maintenance.

work orders, and unscheduled emergency repairs, and project work associated with the operation of

a production and warehouse facility.

This position requires the following:

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate daily activities Ability to maximize productivity and minimize waste Willingness to work in a safe manner and promote a safe working environment Perform all needed maintenance functions in support of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) initiative and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs. Perform emergency repairs as needed Perform preventative maintenance task as scheduled Participate in continuous improvement process Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance and product support areas We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Computer skills (basic computer knowledge) Working knowledge of PLC controls (helpful, but not required) Knowledge of electrical systems including 110-480V systems, AC & DC control systems, installing, troubleshooting and repair Working knowledge of hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems Knowledge of refrigeration systems, with ammonia (preferred by not required) Welding-TIG, MIG, Stick, etc. Stainless / Sanitary equipment experience (helpful but not required) Ability to read and understand blueprints Forklift and pallet-jack certification (helpful, but not required) Knowledge of plant mechanical processes sufficient to analyze performance trends and recommend and initiate corrective actions to improve process performance.

Physical Demands of the Position:

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. above the waist 10 times per day Significant bending and stooping Exposure to heights (may be elevated 40ft. on lift equipment) Willingness to work extended or any scheduled work hours

The starting salary is $26.28/hr. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
