Year 2 - $17.50 | Year 3 - $18.00 | Year 4 - $18.00 | Year 5 - $19.00 Duties and Responsibilities: As a crucial part of our team, you will: Collaborate with team members and communicate essential information to your supervisor. Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data relevant to your responsibilities. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases efficiently and maintain a clean work area. Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers in their experience. Give feedback to management about products, inventory losses, and store issues. Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy. Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness for customers. Follow merchandising planograms for visually appealing displays. Organize new inventory and manage packaging waste effectively. Operate machinery safely by adhering to all safety procedures. Physical Demands: You should be able to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and move around the store regularly. If you're a Stock Associate, you'll need to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should: Be 18 years of age or older. Provide prompt and courteous customer service. Perform general cleaning duties to ALDI standards. Understand and apply company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively and work well both independently and within a team. Manage your time efficiently. Have a basic knowledge of the company’s products and services. Additional Requirements: For Cashiers: Proficiently operate a cash register. Comply with local and state regulations regarding alcohol sales. For Stock Associates: Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Morning availability is essential, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior retail experience.
