As a Store Associate at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a vital role in assisting both wholesale and retail customers. Your primary responsibility will be to identify customer needs, answer their questions about our array of products, and recommend effective solutions to enhance their experience.
Your mission will also include resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure the highest client satisfaction while staying informed about product features. You will help uphold the visual and quality standards of our store by keeping the sales area organized and engaging.
This role requires active engagement with customers, including minors, and access to cash and other valuable items. To ensure a secure environment for our customers and employees, a review of criminal history is necessary for all potential hires.
Expect to work at various store locations within a 10-mile radius of our store at 727 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, CT 06770.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Support customers both in-store and over the phone by understanding their needs and presenting suitable products.
Build strong trust relationships with customers, both wholesale and retail.
Accurately process sales transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Meet established sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Maintain detailed work order files and product formulas.
Retrieve products from sales floor or warehouse as needed.
Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
Stock shelves and create appealing displays.
Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Help with deliveries when required.
Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing.
Stay knowledgeable about available products to effectively discuss options with customers.
Follow inventory control procedures diligently.
Propose ideas for improving sales and customer experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Eligible to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English and Spanish.
Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Ability to lift and carry materials, frequently up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in retail or customer service.
Previous experience selling paint or related products.
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
