As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a vital role in assisting wholesale and retail customers by identifying their needs, answering questions about our products, and providing tailored solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries and resolving concerns promptly to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Staying informed about product features and maintaining the visual standards of our merchandise and store environment will be crucial to your success.
The selected candidate will work at Store #725628, located at: 2941 Main St., Ste 210, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service through effective sales techniques.
Assist customers both in-person and over the phone, identifying their needs and recommending suitable products and services.
Build and maintain trusting relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
Accurately process sales transactions while adhering to company policies.
Achieve and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Maintain organized work order files and accurate product formulas.
Retrieve and prepare products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
Stock shelves and set up eye-catching displays to enhance product visibility.
Ensure cleanliness and proper function of store equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Maintain in-stock conditions and ensure assigned areas are presentable.
Stay knowledgeable about the products offered and discuss available options with customers.
Follow inventory control procedures diligently.
Propose suggestions for improving sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate fluently in English and Spanish.
A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required.
Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Availability to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service roles.
Prior experience in selling paint and paint-related products is an advantage.
Experience in operating tinting and mixing equipment is desirable.
