In this role, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide them with exceptional service regarding our high-quality paints and coatings. Your expertise and personalized recommendations will help ensure complete customer satisfaction while contributing to our store's sales goals. As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include: Delivering outstanding customer service that fosters strong relationships with clients Assisting customers both in-store and over the phone with product inquiries Accurately processing sales transactions in line with company policies Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets Maintaining organized documentation of work orders and customer specifications Rendering shelves and displays visually appealing and well-stocked Mixing and tinting products according to customer requirements Cleaning and maintaining store equipment and facilities Being knowledgeable about our product range to answer customer questions effectively Following inventory control procedures to ensure optimal stock levels Proposing ideas for sales improvements The position requires working at locations within a 20-mile radius of store #3984 located at: 338 Montauk Highway, Wainscott, NY 11937. Minimum Qualifications: Age: Must be at least 18 years old Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship Languages: Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in both English and Spanish Driver's License: Valid and unrestricted Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Preferred Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or GED Experience: At least one year in retail or customer service Knowledge: Familiarity with selling paint and paint-related products Skills: Proficient in operating tinting and mixing equipment Sherwin-Williams values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and career growth.
