Customer Service Representative
A locally owned insurance agency in Salamanca, NY is seeking a reliable and personable Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can manage multiple tasks with ease, and thrives in a detail-focused, customer-first environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting clients and ensuring smooth daily operations in the office.
Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and emails with professionalism and care
Assist clients with policy questions, updates, payments, and documentation
Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations accurately
Maintain and update client records in the agency system
Provide administrative support to agents and team members
Resolve or escalate customer concerns in a timely manner
Follow up on outstanding items and ensure client satisfaction
Build rapport with clients and contribute to a positive office culture
Qualifications and Skills
Prior customer service experience required, insurance background a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Able to learn and navigate insurance software quickly
Detail-oriented and capable of handling confidential information
Licensed in Property & Casualty (preferred but not required)
Team player with a professional attitude
Benefits/Compensation
Full-time
First shift (8:30am-4:30pm)
$20+/hr based on experience
Temp to Hire
Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
Benefits after Probation period
