The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #1320, located at: 1204 S Garfield, Traverse City MI, 49686.
This position is crucial to the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage directly with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide information about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Your role will also involve addressing customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction, while staying up-to-date with product features and maintaining high quality and visual standards in the store.
Your responsibilities include:
Delivering outstanding customer service to enhance satisfaction.
Assist customers both in-store and over the phone by identifying their needs and offering suitable products and services.
Fostering trustful relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with policies.
Aiming to achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Maintaining organized work order files and formulas.
Selecting appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
Tinting and mixing products to customer specifications.
Stocking shelves and setting up attractive displays.
Ensuring cleanliness of store equipment.
Assisting with loading/unloading delivery trucks as needed.
Maintaining assigned areas in a well-stocked and presentable condition.
Staying knowledgeable about offered products and discussing available options with customers.
Following inventory control procedures.
Proposing ideas to improve sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Legal authorization to work in the country without needing visa sponsorship.
A valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, and 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
A High School diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
Previous experience selling paint and related products.
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in more than one language.
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
