Job Purpose:

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive product and environmental reporting requirements. This position will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting regulatory changes, developing compliance strategies, and filing compliance reports to required agencies across a wide range of platforms while also supporting broader regulatory affairs functions.

Reporting and Compliance Duties: Own and manage all reporting requirements including, but not limited to: Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) WERCSmart OEM reporting platforms REACH compliance requirements VOC and PFAS disclosures Customer-specific environmental and regulatory reporting Follow organizational policies and procedures to ensure a controlled documentation and record retention system. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and validate data and implement master data strategies. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to reporting protocols. Regulatory Affairs Duties:

Including but not limited to:

Assist in the creation and maintenance of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Conduct label reviews to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Support other regulatory affairs functions as needed, including product registrations and hazard communication. Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in regulatory affairs, business, chemistry, environmental science, engineering, pre-law, or related field required. 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance and reporting. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like REACH, EPR, VOC, PFAS. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory requirements relevant to the performance chemical and lubricants industry. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and standards. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with various stakeholders and regulatory authorities. Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational capabilities to manage multiple compliance projects. Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with platforms such as WERCSmart, Assent, and iFord. Experience with SDS authoring tools software. Knowledge of global chemical regulations, product stewardship practices, and labeling standards. Proficiency in Excel and compliance management systems. Physical Requirements

Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity to read and interpret technical documents, labels, and digital displays. Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%).
