Job Details Position Type : Assistant Manager - Restaurant Operations Salary Range : Undisclosed Description As an Assistant Manager in Restaurant Operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager and ensuring the smooth daily operations of the restaurant. Your primary focus will be on: Delivering outstanding customer service Upholding company standards for product quality and facility maintenance Overseeing food handling processes and operational protocols Managing financial performance to achieve profit margin targets In this role, you will take ownership of specific financial controls and assist in training team members while actively engaging with customers and modeling ideal behaviors throughout the restaurant. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with aspirations to progress to the Restaurant General Manager position within a year and a half after joining. Commitment to your Individual Development Plan is essential for continued advancement. Key Responsibilities Customer Satisfaction/Product Quality

Provide fast, precise service, fostering positive guest relations while ensuring high-quality product standards. Act as a role model in customer issue resolution and coach staff on exceptional customer service. Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Financial Management

Contribute to developing the restaurant's annual operating plan and perform ongoing financial analysis. Mentor team members regarding financial performance and profitability strategies.

Operational Excellence

Maintain facilities and equipment following company standards. Monitor daily operations for compliance and efficiency, addressing any areas for improvement.

Human Resources Management

Lead all HR activities at the restaurant level, including hiring, training, and performance management. Foster a fair work environment ensuring compliance with regulations.

Success Metrics Achievement of operating plan goals Improvement in margins and sales performance compared to previous periods Customer satisfaction scores and employee engagement levels Qualifications We are looking for candidates with: A high school diploma or GED Experience in supervisory roles within food service or retail settings Proven track record in driving customer satisfaction and financial performance This position is based in Shrewsbury, PA.
