Description
The Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) supports the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations and ensuring top-notch customer service during business hours. Key responsibilities include:
Driving excellence in customer service.
Upholding company standards for product quality and facility cleanliness.
Supervising food handling and operational processes.
Monitoring financial metrics to meet profit margins.
The ARM also takes responsibility for specific financial controls and plays a crucial role in employee training and hiring under the guidance of the RGM. This position involves hands-on operations, responding to customer service needs, and modeling the expected skills and behaviors.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be on a path to promote to Restaurant General Manager within one and a half years. Those not showing growth towards their Individual Development Plan within the first year may face demotion or termination.
