Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a day shift role requiring ARRT registration in Mammography and a minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience.
Responsibilities Position is within the Imaging Department focusing on adult and geriatric patientsDay shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMNo call, weekends, or floating requiredWork includes 3-D, digital, diagnostic, and screening mammograms using Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX systemsPyxis medication system and EPIC EMR are utilized8-hour orientation providedResponsibilities include performing various mammographic procedures, maintaining quality standards, and documenting in EPICMust adhere to radiation and core safety precautionsCandidates with experience in fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, stereotactic biopsy, or digital quality assurance are preferredFirst time travelers will be consideredCaribbean blue scrubs are required and not providedFormer employees are not eligible for considerationFlu vaccination or signed declination required during flu season (October-March)Local candidates are accepted at the local rate within a 75-mile radiusNo restrictive rules on requested time off (RTO)License required if applicable
