American Traveler is seeking a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with 3+ years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound and advanced fetal echocardiography.
Responsibilities Position is based in a maternal fetal medicine outpatient clinic settingRole focuses on high-risk pregnancy ultrasound and maternal-fetal medicine examsDay shift with a 4x8 hour workweek, totaling 40 hours per weekPatient population consists of pregnant women requiring specialized fetal assessmentProcedures include fetal echocardiograms, MCA and valve doppler studies, detailed fetal anatomy scans, growth assessments, and biophysical profilesNeedle procedure guidance and transvaginal cervical assessments may be requiredDuties include assisting radiologists with invasive maternal-fetal ultrasound techniques and providing guidance on needle proceduresResponsible for conducting, documenting, and analyzing a comprehensive range of ultrasound procedures for high-risk pregnanciesProvides training and standardization to residents and consults with patients regarding preparation and exam processCollaborates closely with radiologists and OB providers for diagnostic interpretation and follow-upRequires flexibility for rapid onboarding, with background and drug screen results needed at least two weeks before the start dateProfessional scrubs required
