Position Summary

The Senior Procurement Analyst supports Supply Chain Leadership by managing, conducting, and participating in procurement activities, including the negotiation of contracts. This position also serves as the administrator for the eProcurement platform and is responsible for performing independent work of a semi-technical nature. The Analyst conducts comprehensive spend, price, and trend analyses; interprets data to draw informed conclusions; and delivers detailed analytical reports. The role involves regular interaction with suppliers and designated departments, as well as executing a wide range of purchases across the organization.

The Senior Procurement Analyst must have a solid understanding of public purchasing procedures, as well as statistical, financial, economic, and accounting principles and practices.

This role requires strong analytical and organizational capabilities, excellent time management, and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment when prioritizing tasks. The incumbent must possess effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information and collaborate with individuals across various levels and backgrounds. Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Additional qualifications include the ability to evaluate and interpret data, make recommendations to senior leadership, and manage data effectively-collecting, analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting information tailored to a range of stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities, support organizational leaders as needed, and work independently with minimal supervision is also required
