About the Role: At Trilogy Foods, a poultry processor, the Maintenance Team Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, gear box, refrigerant, HVAC, and electrical systems. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying potential equipment failures and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The Maintenance Team Lead will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals and safety standards. Ultimately, this position ensures that all maintenance operations contribute to a safe, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing environment. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical maintenance is required. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, including experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, gear box, refrigerant, HVAC, and electrical systems. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role managing maintenance teams. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to industrial maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Certification in maintenance management or reliability engineering (e.g., CMRP). Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience with energy-efficient HVAC and refrigeration technologies.
