A nationally recognized architecture and interior design firm is seeking a motivated
Interior Designer I
to join its collaborative design studio. This is a dynamic opportunity for early-career professionals looking to contribute to meaningful projects, grow their technical skills, and work alongside experienced mentors in a supportive and creative environment.
This role is ideal for recent graduates or early professionals who bring curiosity, design sensibility, and a desire to work on interior environments that inspire. What You'll Do:
Assist with design concepts, documentation, and detailing across multiple phases of projects Support the team with presentation preparation including sketches, renderings, and boards Conduct product and materials research and contribute to FF&E specifications Gain hands-on experience in construction administration tasks and field visits Learn how to navigate project budgets, building codes, and professional practice processes Help maintain visual standards across deliverables Collaborate with senior team members and respond proactively to evolving project needs Continue developing your design and technical skills across software platforms Participate in mentorship opportunities and pursue ongoing learning What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (CIDA-accredited program) or a B.Arch Internship or academic studio experience in interior or architectural design A design portfolio showcasing creativity and understanding of spatial design Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities Technical Skills:
Familiarity with: • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) • SketchUp and Enscape • Microsoft Office Willingness to build proficiency in: • Revit and AutoCAD • Furniture specification platforms like Designer Pages Experience working on Windows-based systems Preferred But Not Required: Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Experience in a professional design studio setting
