Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required License: Allied Health Licensure must be applied for within 72 hours of signing Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT) required Must-Have: Epic experience, GE experience, ED, inpatient, and outpatient experience required Description: Candidate must apply for allied health licensure within 72 hours of signing. Please ensure that the candidate is aware of the following: This position is located in a commonly impacted area for hurricanes. The hurricane season will run from June 1 to November 30, But storms have been known to occur outside of that timeframe. Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, The unit manager may assign the candidate to an emergency team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the storm passes, Or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each storm as impacts vary. The candidate is expected to float between ED, main campus, outpatient, And clinics within walking distance of the main campus. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Work on holidays will be required if the workday falls on a holiday. The candidate will backfill for a cancellation and must have relevant experience. Daily census includes a variety of patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit has 7 rooms available for procedures. References are required to obtain clearance to start the contract. Charge experience is required. The candidate must be prepared for the possibility of additional certifications before starting. Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from their previous roles for 1 full year before returning as travel staff.
