Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) or 10 hours (19:00 - 05:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: Compact or Louisiana license required upon submission Certifications: CT Certification (ARRT (CT)), BLS required Must-Have: Must have Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient experience Description: Candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing. You are being submitted to a position in an area commonly impacted by hurricanes. The hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms can occur outside of this window. Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an Emergency Team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after any storm passes or to be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be communicated during each storm, as impacts may vary. By signing your travel contract for this position, you accept these terms. You should not apply during the hurricane window if you are not comfortable with the above. 7 on / 7 off schedule is expected. Candidate is expected to float between Emergency Department, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of the main campus. Experience with Epic and GE systems is required. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. If workday falls on a holiday, working that holiday is mandatory. References are not required for submission but 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start the contract. Charge RNs are not acceptable as references. Ensure certifications are up to date prior to submission. Resources who have worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the organization for 1 full year before returning as travelers.
